I'm not so good at starting a blog post with a proper greeting........ as you can tell. This is Landon, by the way. Alex has been writing all the blog posts so far, so I thought it would be a nice change for you all to see one from me instead of someone who knows what they're doing, haha. I wanted to write a quick post about our photo shoot from yesterday and how fun it was, especially with the company I had.

To set the scene, it was just above freezing, and the sun was having trouble popping out from behind the clouds. We were in Downtown Sioux Falls taking pictures of ELLIE KLAASSEN , a local model. The shoot was for SPINNING WHEELS DESIGNS. They're a Clothing company started by BRYAN WHEELER, a Sioux Falls native and an all-around great guy. He is making a line of T-shirts that are oriented towards South Dakota and Sioux Falls, which is awesome in my book. We were able to spend an hour with Ellie, taking photos of her in three different outfits to showcase a few of the shirts in an urban setting. Not only is Ellie really good at what she does, but she's fun to work with. Alex and I had a blast and can't wait to do more shoots with her and the rest of the models Bryan has lined up for his T-shirt line.

Seriously?

Seriously?

"Oh man, you are hilarious, Landon. You are super duper cool and Ruggedly Handsome too. I'm totally actually saying this in the photo too, Landon is not just typing it as he made this blog post."

Before we started, Alex and I got there a few minutes early, so we checked out what spots would work best for the shoot with the light we had (or didn't have, haha) that morning. Alex had scoped out the area prior, but we wanted to line up some shots. It's hard to tell what the shot will look like if you don't have a person in them, so since I was behind the camera for the shoot, I asked Alex to model for me so I could line up the shots. She wasn't super pumped about it, but of course she did it. The first several shots were basically just for lining up the shots and her face did not look happy in them since she likes being behind the camera MUCH more than being in front of it (I'm the same way). After a while, though, I used my Devilishly amazing charm and Rugged Handsomeness to make her laugh. I am extremely hilarious and I don't ever brag about it. I am a very humble person and don't usually mention how RIDICULOUSLY hilarious I am, haha.

We were both excited, and when Ellie arrived, we introduced ourselves and got right to shooting. It was cold and the shoot was to showcase T-shirts, so you can imagine about how cold Ellie was. We tried to give her a few breaks to warm up, but I still feel bad. I'm always overly warm, so I was out there in half-sleeves and was just fine the entire time, which made me fairly oblivious to how chilly they were getting. Alex was good about giving them time to warm up here and there, so neither one froze, but we all did have a great time. We got some great shots (Ellie made it easy, haha), and by the end of it, we were not ready to go home. We could have stayed out there all day, but of course, we all had to get back to the rest of our work.

Overall, The shoot was so much fun that we are still talking about how much fun we had and can't wait to do it again. If you guys are reading this and want to see how much fun we are (that's a humble-brag, right? Not too cocky?), feel free to give us a call or book a shoot. We love working with anyone and love getting to know our clients too.

Our thanks to BRYAN WHEELER and SPINNING WHEELS DESIGNS, as wells as ELLIE KLAASSEN for this terrific experience. We look forward to working with them again soon!

l try to put more blog posts out there, but in the mean time, have a wonderful day and stay warm (cool if you read this when it's warm out)!
